How to Turn on 2FA for Facebook
In order to use two-factor authentication on Facebook, you'll first need to set up either text message (SMS) codes or a third-party authentication app on your account. Once you have added either text message (SMS) codes or a third-party authentication app on your account, you'll also be able to set up a security key.
1.Getting Started
Open the Settings menu. Click the ▼ in the bar at the top of the page and select "Settings".

Go to the Security and Login menu option.

Scroll down on the page until you find Two-Factor Authentication section, and hit Edit next to use two-factor authentication.

Click on the Get Started button. This will begin the setup process for two-factor Authentication.

Chose Text messages.

2.Setting Text Messages
Enter your mobile number
You'll be sent a text when you enter a new number. Enter the code that gets texted to you to verify your number.
Enter your password.
You'll need to enter your Facebook login password here to verify your identity.

Verify your phone number.
Enter the 6-digit code that Facebook texted you and click "Next".

Click on Finish.

3.Paired with GoTrust ID - Security Key
You are going to use GoTrust ID's "Security Key" function to add a U2F Key on facebook.
Under Add a Backup, to the right of Security Keys, click Setup.
Notice: Make sure your mobile phone's Bluetooth already turns on, GoTrust ID will be triggered automatically.


Verify your fingerprint on your mobile phone.

Paired successfully!


Congratulations!
You can use GoTrust ID -Security Key each time you sign in to your Facebook account.

Signing in using GoTrust ID - Security Key
On your computer, sign in to Facebook.
Notice: Make sure your mobile phone's Bluetooth already turns on, GoTrust ID will be triggered automatically.
